ACT I. ENGLAND AND TRANSYLVANIA
Croquet at the Westenra Estate

As the curtain rises, 19-year-old socialite Lucy Westenra is playing croquet with Arthur Holmwood, her fiancé, a friend, Mina Murray, and her fiancé, Jonathan Harker, at the Westenra family's opulent estate in the English countryside.





Jonathan's Farewell

In this pas de deux, Mina Murray and her fiancé, Jonathan Harker, say goodbye, before Jonathan departs for Transylvania to meet Count Dracula.



The Old Country

Jonathan's journey from England to Transylvania, finally arriving at the Carpathian Mountains, where Count Dracula's castle hangs over the valley. Jonathan meets a band of gypsies, who warn him of the dangers of meeting Count Dracula.



The Gypsy Dance

As Jonathan watches, the Gypsies launch into a dance.





Dracula's Castle

Jonathan Harker arrives at Dracula's castle and enters the vampire's lair. At the sound of wolves howling in the distance, the Count says, "Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make!"

Jonathan settles into a guest room in the castle.







Dracula's Brides

After retiring for the evening, Jonathan is visited by Dracula's undead brides. As the vampires are about to drain the blood from Jonathan's body, however, the Count appears and rescues Jonathan by offering the brides the gift of a small child instead.





Jonathan's Escape

Jonathan escapes from Dracula's castle and returns to England by ship. Only one problem: The count is a hidden passenger on that ship.

ACT TWO. ENGLAND

The Great Waltz

Dracula, now in England, crashes someone's party and creates a big sensation with the ladies (in particular, Lucy and Mina).





Lucy's Seduction

Count Dracula enters the Westenra home, seduces Lucy, and bites her on the neck.





Lucy's Death

Despite Dr. Van Helsing's attempts to save her, and with her friends standing vigil, Lucy succumbs to the vampire's curse and dies.





Lucy's Funeral

A funeral procession. Strains of a Requiem are heard.





The Children's Waltz

A group of children falls prey to Lucy, who has now returned as a vampire. (Tricky time changes.)



Lucy's Final Demise

Lucy, looking more ravishing than ever, begins to seduce her fiancé Arthur. The Doctor arrives just in time to save him.

Pas de Deux with Dracula and Mina

The Count maneuvers Mina into one last dance.





Dracula is Taken

Jonathan, Arthur, and the Doctor chase down Count Dracula during daylight hours, when he is most vulnerable, and strike the fatal blow.





Requiem for a Vampire

Mina, having grown attached to the Count, attends to him in his dying moments.
